We needed to promote the new Croissant Toast Sandwiches from Panera, so we dialed up the French-ness, dialed up the fashion, and designed a Croissant Clutch bag with built-in ventilation to keep your sandwich nice and toasty. It sold out in 24 hours, and Seth Meyers and Ego Nwodim thought it was pretty cool, too.

We needed to let the world know that MassMutual offers financial planning in addition to the life insurance they’re known for, so we enlisted the help of cats, stuffed animals, and talking paintings to let people know that when it comes to feeling better about their financial future, the feeling is MassMutual.

We needed to lean into the drama and ever-changing landscape of the NBA, so we settled on the construct of time as a way of not only announcing the upcoming season, but as a way to talk to players, teams, season storylines, and career arcs — of which there are many.

We needed a kickoff spot to get NFL fans hyped for the first real season of football since the start of the pandemic, so we let the voiceover guy step out of his cage to personally pump up every NFL fan he could in real life — because we can do things in real life again.

We needed to show people where their Vital Farms eggs came from, so we put cameras out in their pastures, tracked all their eggs back to said pastures, and hired a Vital Farms farmer to memorize a really long monologue to show you that you can look up the hens that laid your Vital Farms eggs directly from the carton.

We needed to help fans get ready for fall Saturdays full of college football, so we created a College GameDay breakfast collection with custom cereals for each of the show’s hosts and passed them out live from the GameDay set to reward fans for coming out.

We needed to create a collection of lighters for marijuana’s big day that moved away from the low-brow cannabis clichés of the past and reflected the elevated tastes of today’s cannabis user. So, we reimagined the holiday as something a little more regal, and proceeded to design some limited-run polished brass lighters that are as much coffee table piece as they are functional lighter.
